Chris James, Angela Pasten and I have been business partners for many years. We have owned other restaurants before Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, but decided to partner with Dickey’s after tasting the slow-smoked flavors and seeing how excited the residents of Southern California are about great authentic barbecue. Texas-style Barbecue fits into everyone’s lifestyle. We are happy to be the place to go for great barbecue in Irvine, California.
After being with Dickey’s Barbecue Pit for five years, I have seen growth not only in the number of operating stores but in the menu, the environment of the stores and in the home office. I originally came to Dickey’s opportunities because of the unique concept and the demand for barbecue in the greater Sacramento area. Today, I am the proud owner of nine Dickey’s locations throughout greater Sacramento. In the last five years Dickey’s has evolved to stay competitive. We recently updated the look of our stores to a modern design with chalkboard-style walls and reclaimed wood. We also now offer new ways to enjoy barbecue at different portions and price points. Dickey’s continues to evolve with technology and has great ongoing support from the home office. They are responsive to feedback too, which is appreciated. All in all, I am very happy I went into business with Dickey's.
